Brandy aka Bran'Nu?

With Timbaland’s new album “Shock Value II” sent to be released on December 8, 2009, word is the album has already leaked on to the internet. Let’s just hope this doesn’t deliver the death blow to the new albums sales as was seen with rapper 50 Cent’s recent album “Before I Self Destruct“. Perhaps it is just giving more potential music buyers a chance to listen to the whole album before they rush to the stores for their official copy went it hits the stores! One of the songs featured on the now leaked album is a collaboration with R&B singer Brandy. Except Brandy is not singing. Rather she is rapping and going by the moniker Bran’Nu. What do you think of Brandy as a rapper? Doesn’t even sound like Brandy LOTD thinks …

The popular music industry enjoys trends and formulas. Once they have found one that worked they love to put said trend or formula on repeat. With that said it seems to be the time to bring those who have been behind the scenes out front. A few years ago hit songwriter Ne-Yo came to the forefront to much commercial success and acclaim. Following him have been the likes of Keri Hilson, Jason Derulo, Kevin Cossom and now it is James Fauntleroy turn. With Co-writing credits for such tracks as Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi“, Jordin Spark’s “No Air“, Chris Brown’s “Superhuman” and Ciara and Justin Timberlake’s “Love Sex and Magic” there is no question of Fautleroy’s writing talents. Rahman. Of Hawiian, Filipino and Russian heritage, Scherzinger returns as a solo artist with the Timbaland produced “Zoo“. The Hip Hop, Electro-Pop single sounds amazing as Nicole is chased by a young man in heat while she is in the club. “Zoo” should server as a great catalyst for her second attempt at releasing a solo project!
