Barbadian pop star Rihanna was awarded Glamour Magazine’s Woman of the Year award after a year of many highs and lows including her very public bout with domestic abuse at the hands of then boyfriend Chris Brown and the scandle of some private nude photos being leaked on the internet. Rihanna stood strong through out all of this and has positioned herself and a positive role model for young women and as LA Reid, CEO of Def Djam, put it “she is one of those greats we will be talking about 20 years from now”. Teen Pop star Miley Cyrus admits that her song “Party in the USA” means nothing to her besides the fact she needed another song to go with her clothing line and she never expected it to be popular. She also states she has “never heard a Jay-Z song” after the interview asks her “You’ve gotta have one in mind, Big Pimpin’?” She shuts him down saying she doesn’t listen to “Pop music, it’s not my style”. LOL… Considering everything she sings is pretty much pop music one does tend to wonder what her style is then? Watch it here:

Rihanna confirms some details of her assault suffered at the hands of former boyfriend, Pop star Chris Brown. She will reveal even more intimate details of the assault on ABC’s 20/20 tonight at 10 pm ET. Chris brown’s friends and supporters are already trying to do damage control via twitter accusing Rihanna of lying about the incident for the sake of selling records. However, one could find this is hard to believe given the fact of the resulting bruises and leaked Police report as well as court details and Chris Brown’s sentencing that followed the assault many months ago.
If she is in fact lying about Chris Brown one would think he would have had something more to say for himself. Perhaps he will in his interview on MTV soon.
