Rihanna Glamour Magazine awards

Barbadian pop star Rihanna was awarded Glamour Magazine’s Woman of the Year award after a year of many highs and lows including her very public bout with domestic abuse at the hands of then boyfriend Chris Brown and the scandle of some private nude photos being leaked on the internet. Rihanna stood strong through out all of this and has positioned herself and a positive role model for young women and as LA Reid, CEO of Def Djam, put it “she is one of those greats we will be talking about 20 years from now”.
